Administration Support Officer – Full/Part-time

Job Brief


The Administration Support Officer will be required to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties include providing support to Management, assisting in daily office needs and carrying out general administrative activities.





Assistance, amongst other things, with

  • incoming and outgoing correspondence

  • preparation of regularly scheduled reports, presentations etc.

  • preparation of invoices

  • preparation and maintenance of accounting documents and records including ledger postings

  • carrying out of ancillary administrative duties including filing (both manual and electronic), typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

  • carrying out of reception duties, including providing general support to visitors, answering and directing phone calls

  • organizing and scheduling appointments


Qualifications and Experience




Applicant should

  • be in possession of a recognized MQF Level 4 Certificate (Advanced Level, including ‘Accounting’) or higher

  • be competent in MS Office, databases and accounting software

  • preferably, would have had some experience in a similar role

  • possess good time-management and presentation skills

  • be capable of reaching set targets within established timeframes

  • be task-oriented with ability to handle several on-going duties with professionalism and accuracy

  • be a person of integrity, outgoing and assertive with excellent communication (at least, Maltese and English) and interpersonal skills

  • be able to work well and participate in a team environment
