Web Content Developer – Freelance

The Web Content Developer will be expected to assist in the creation and uploading of material on Atriga Consult’s website to keep it updated and maintain regular contact with clients. In particular, the Web Content Developer shall:

1. Create original content and transform in the ideal format for website uploading;
2. Assist in the development of content required for blog posts, online articles, advertising material, marketing material to be uploaded on the website as required by Atriga Consult;
3. Collect all the necessary information and documentation required to complete web content uploads;
4. Liaise with staff at Atriga Consult through regular contact;
5. Liaise with the web programming service provider to ensure updates and system security;
6. Ensure proper liaison and follow up with service providers involved in producing and supplying online media;
7. Ensure ongoing business development and follow up with third parties to secure online advertising and marketing on Atriga Consult’s website;
8. Undertake any other tasks as may be required for the effective running of the projects assigned.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Be in possession of a recognized degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in communication or journalism;
• Have minimum 2/3 years work experience in web content development, website administration or web related marketing;
• Familiarity with web design, administration of webinars, social media, online advertising, blogs and links would be considered an asset;
• Be able to work independently under minimum supervision;
• Possess good time-management and presentation skills;
• Have good listening skills and being capable of reaching set targets within established timeframes;
• Have multitasking abilities and can handle several on-going duties with professionalism and accuracy;
• Be a person of integrity, outgoing and assertive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Have proven analytical and creative skills;
• Possess excellent communication and writing skills in Maltese and English, and preferably in Italian;
• Be able to work well and participate in a team environment.
