Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce

The Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce

Company / Entity background

The Maltese-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Malta is a freely elected association of businessmen and tourism operators – Maltese, Italian and also of other nationalities – whose aim is to promote economic exchanges between Malta and Italy.  The Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce is a member of ASSOCAMERESTERO, the association of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.  The Chamber can be considered to be the first point of reference for Italian entrepreneurs who would like to have more information about Malta especially for those who intend to invest in the Maltese Islands. It also extends and exploits its relationship with the other countries in the Mediterranean.

With our guidance

Atriga Consult co-ordinated another Mediterranean project called ‘Out of the Blue - Isles in the MEDiterranean (OBIMED) -, a platform created to enrich cultural exchange between the Maltese islands and Sciacca and Castelvetrano Selinunte in Sicily.

Following a successful bid, Atriga Consult was contracted by the Maltese Italian Chamber of Commerce, to assist the latter as well as the other participants, to shape a platform that promotes these culturally rich and diverse destinations to specialised tourist groups thereby increasing the possibilities of mitigating seasonal downturns.  Through this project, tourism stakeholders are being encouraged to form part of a network where they are able to enhance the online visibility of the respective islands’ sites and salient historical landmarks and, subsequently, promote their products and services to a wider audience, including niche tourists.

In line with the remit given to it by its client, along with its collaborators, Atriga Consult produced (a) video documentaries in English and Italian to be projected in local cinemas and online to increase the awareness about the respective territories, as well as (b) software applications for Iphone, Ipad, and Android.
